Somehow I found your podcast even though kid’s nap time for my wife and I ended long ago as we are seniors. As a former graphic designer for about 20 years, it seemed natural to begin designing and creating hand-made products and then sell on Etsy. Realizing that all the projects we were pursuing needed a custom cut file for our Cricut machine, I started considering svg files for sale. Podcasts like yours will be helpful, but I wish it had a different title as this information would be good for many that don’t fit the title profile. Might I suggest that you do an episode that explains the different file formats such as svg, png, tiff, jpg, gif, etc. I have found that many people do not understand the difference between vector and bitmap graphics especially as it comes to scaling. Also, although Illustrator is a very robust program to create svg files, I personally use a vector drawing program on the Mac called Graphic by Picta, Inc. that is only about $30/year. I’ve been enjoying your podcast episodes, and I’m sure to gain some knowledge and motivation along the way.
I’ve been researching how to make my own svg’s, as I got my own cricut maker recently, and being an artist and crafter, I thought to myself “I’m sure I can do this”. Then I came across you on YouTube which then led me to this page. I’m looking for my 1st ipad pro at the moment, just not sure which one yet as its a minefield.
Thank you for all your information.
