For those of you who know me, you might think I’m kind of ironic. And not because I dance to rap songs before I hop on my live webinars to get my jitters out. I say ironic, because I grew up on a farm where ‘you get what you get and you don’t throw a fit’ and worked with my hands a lot, and then went on to college and got a minor in computers and became a total coding geek.
While that always makes for great conversation, I’m also really proud of my background because I think I have the best of both worlds. I like to think I bridge the gap between those who work with their hands (looking at you artists and crafters) and those who are tech savvy.
This episode is designed to show you how you can benefit from any job experience (no matter how terrible) and how to apply those principles to your current or future business.
I hope you will also see it as proof of my willingness and desire to help other mommies achieve their dreams of working from home, doing something they actually enjoy and making a decent income through it!
What You’ll Learn in This Episode:
- My background and how I was raised
- What entitlement looks like
- How to learn new skills required for the job
- The benefits of working with your hands
- What it means to be scrappy and why it pays off
